Little Lift

Versioned merchant terms and privacy agreement

Merchant terms and privacy agreement

These terms are between your store's merchant and Ready, Set, Go, the operator of Little Lift. By accepting this version in the app, you confirm that you are authorized to act for the merchant and agree to the donation terms and processing instructions below.

  • Little Lift provides optional USD donations to Meyer & Friends through Shopify POS and online carts.
  • The app is free and retains 0% of donations. Your store collects the money and sends the remittance.
  • Necessary accounting history has no fixed anniversary-based expiry. Privacy requests remove affected order details, and uninstall starts store-data cleanup. Read the handling and recovery limits below.

Agreement version: meyer-free-remittance-privacy-v2. Accompanying privacy version: little-lift-privacy-v2. Document date: September 14, 2026.

Optional donations and charges

The beneficiary is Meyer & Friends, whose IRS-listed legal name is MEYER AND FRIENDS, EIN 99-3514295. Identify the beneficiary and additional amount clearly, and add a donation only after the customer agrees. Do not preselect an optional charge or describe a Shopify payment receipt as a donor tax receipt.

Donation collection is supported only when the store and the current cart or POS session use USD. Check the currency and donation amount before collecting payment. Checkout-step donation prompts are not available in this release.

Little Lift has no subscription fee and retains 0% of donations for operating costs. Your Shopify and payment-provider charges remain your responsibility and must not be deducted from the amount owed to Meyer & Friends.

Collection, reconciliation and remittance

Your store receives customer payments through Shopify checkout or Shopify POS. Little Lift records donation lines and donation-line refunds. It does not hold donations, split Shopify payouts or automatically transfer money to the beneficiary.

Monthly statements cover calendar months in UTC. Amounts due account for donation-line refunds and available credits. Refunds affecting a reported or verified payment leave that historical statement unchanged and reduce later amounts due. Reconcile the statement with your Shopify orders and remit the net amount to Meyer & Friends within 15 days after the period ends, using confirmed payment instructions. If instructions are general or unclear, contact letsgo@helloreadysetgo.com before sending funds.

Mark a statement paid only after sending payment. Reported paid means the merchant reports sending it; verified means an authorized Meyer & Friends administrator confirmed receipt. Reporting payment is not confirmation of receipt, and neither status is a donor tax receipt.

Refund customers through the original Shopify order and payment provider. Contact support if a refund affects a statement already paid. The app does not automatically retrieve money previously sent to the beneficiary.

Your processing instructions

You instruct Ready, Set, Go to use the store's identity, domains, contact details, currency, timezone, installation status and permissions; authorized staff identity and sessions; donation-product and variant identifiers; and order, donation-line, refund and location references, dates and amounts to provide Little Lift. Agreement acceptance, remittance instructions, reported payments, verification actions and audit records support that service.

These records are used to authenticate access, configure optional donations, reconcile refunds, calculate statements, provide reports and exports, prevent duplicate processing, enforce operator permissions and respond to support and privacy requests. The donation ledger does not store buyer names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, payment details or raw webhook payloads. Order references can still identify a customer's order in Shopify and are protected data, not anonymous records.

You are responsible for notices and permissions required for your store's use of the app. Your authenticated settings and applicable privacy requests form part of your processing instructions. We do not sell the data or use donation records for advertising or competitive benchmarking. Contact support when an instruction requires an action the app cannot currently perform; an instruction cannot override applicable law or Shopify's terms.

Access and service providers

Shopify provides the commerce platform, payments environment and authenticated connection. Cloudflare hosts the app, database and public assets. Authorized Meyer & Friends administrators use the remittance information needed to confirm merchant payments. Authorized technical operators use necessary records to maintain the service and handle support.

App access uses Shopify authentication and store-scoped permissions; beneficiary verification is a separate restricted role. Shopify and Cloudflare may process information outside your country. This agreement does not promise a particular processing country or a completed international-transfer assessment. Ready, Set, Go remains responsible for its app and its processing when it uses service providers.

Retention and privacy requests

The permitted retention purpose for donation, refund, statement and payment history is the installed merchant's ongoing reporting, reconciliation and remittance service, for as long as that history remains necessary. There is no fixed anniversary-based accounting expiry. Installation, an unpaid statement or a preference for keeping history does not by itself justify retaining unnecessary identifiers or diagnostic records. Keep your own exports for independent recordkeeping.

Settings and acceptance records support the active service and identify the terms accepted. Expired authentication sessions are removed when no longer needed for access or a pending uninstall check. A customer redaction removes affected order, line, refund and location references from active accounting and related processing records. Monthly totals remain for reconciliation. We retain only the minimum keyed safeguards needed to keep deleted details from returning and prevent duplicate accounting, for as long as those purposes remain necessary. These restricted records contain no raw order IDs or links between an order and its amounts; they remain protected pseudonymous data.

Shopify's API Terms require deletion of affected Merchant Data, including copies, within 30 days after uninstall, loss of service need or an enforceable deletion request, unless applicable law prohibits or changes that duty. If we cannot comply, those terms require us to notify Shopify. Necessary suppression records and recovery handling are limited to their stated purposes; this agreement does not waive privacy rights or Shopify's requirements.

For access, correction, export or deletion, contact letsgo@helloreadysetgo.com. We may need to verify your relationship to the store. Shopify customer requests are queued with their order scope and deadline. An authenticated merchant can download the scoped access export in Setup and help for their customer privacy process. A queued request or generated export is not proof of delivery, redaction or completed fulfillment.

After delivering the requested data, the authenticated merchant can explicitly report delivery in the app. Little Lift records the merchant's confirmation and clears the pending request's order-selection metadata. This is merchant-reported delivery, not independent verification of delivery or deletion. Downloading an export does not record this confirmation, and the action cannot complete a redaction request.

Privacy requests and recovery

Customer redaction runs automatically in bounded steps, preserving financial totals while removing the affected order details. Request status distinguishes active-data removal, remaining work and retained deletion safeguards. Uninstall and Shopify shop-redaction requests initiate deletion of the affected installation's settings, credentials, agreements, ledger, statements and related records. A current reinstallation is preserved. If installation status cannot be confirmed, cleanup remains pending for retry or operator review; an acknowledged webhook is not proof of completed work.

Cloudflare D1 provides a verified 30-day recovery history. Affected backup data is kept beyond active use until it expires through that rolling history. A separate private journal records keyed deletion scope and outcomes so a database rollback does not erase later privacy instructions. Before restored data can return to service, operators must reapply later deletions in quarantine and verify the result against that journal. Unresolved outcomes or recovery points predating the journal prevent reopening through this procedure.

Encrypted legacy migration archives and inactive hosting recovery copies remain protected solely for the current migration recovery purpose. They are retired once replacement recovery verification ends; retirement has not yet occurred. Contact support for a particular request's status, the minimum safeguards retained and the applicable backup or retirement handling. We remain responsible for applying that handling within the applicable obligations.

App responsibility, support and ending use

Ready, Set, Go is solely responsible for Little Lift, its development, operation, marketing, distribution and support, and liability arising from its handling of Merchant Data or the merchant's use of the app. Shopify is not liable for app defects or resulting harm. Shopify does not provide installation or usage assistance for Little Lift unless it expressly says otherwise. Contact letsgo@helloreadysetgo.com for app, remittance or privacy support.

You may disable prompts or uninstall at any time. You remain responsible for donations already collected and outstanding reconciliation. Export needed records before uninstalling. Little Lift may disable prompts for materially overdue remittance or misrepresentation. These terms do not restrict your ability to conduct your business or use competing services.

This version and your acceptance

Accepting this agreement applies to meyer-free-remittance-privacy-v2 and the accompanying fixed privacy document little-lift-privacy-v2. The app records the accepted versions, authenticated representative and acceptance time. Earlier remittance-only acceptance is historical and does not accept this version. Opening this page is not acceptance.

These versioned documents contain the terms and privacy disclosures for this acceptance. Links to support or provider information do not incorporate future changes to those pages. Materially changed terms must have new document versions and be presented for fresh acceptance before donations are enabled under them.
