For installation, donation setup, reporting or privacy help, email letsgo@helloreadysetgo.com with Little Lift in the subject line. Include your store's myshopify.com domain and a short description of the issue.
- Do not send passwords, Shopify access tokens, payment details or customer information.
- For a customer payment or refund, contact the merchant that collected the donation.
- Little Lift supports free Meyer & Friends donations through POS and the online cart. Checkout-step donation prompts are not available in this release.
- Use a USD store and keep the cart or POS session in USD. Donation prompts are unavailable in other currencies.

Set up the online cart
Use a theme that supports app blocks or app embeds. Install Little Lift through Shopify, open the app, read and accept the remittance terms, provision the donation product, then enable Storefront.
- In Shopify Admin, open Online Store > Themes and edit the theme you want to use.
- Open the Cart template. In a section that supports apps, add the Little Lift donations app block, then save.
- For supported cart drawers, open App embeds, enable Little Lift cart, then save. No theme source-code edits are needed.
- Preview a cart containing a regular product. Add a donation deliberately and confirm its amount and beneficiary. Remove it and confirm the cart updates before opening the setup to customers.
- If the widget is missing, confirm Storefront is enabled in Little Lift, the donation product is active, the app block or embed is saved, and the donation product is published to the Online Store channel.
Hide the donation product's Add to cart button
Keep donations going through the Little Lift widget with its amount and beneficiary disclosure. In a theme that supports product templates, hide direct purchasing on the donation product page without changing the default template used by your catalog.
- In the theme editor, choose Products > Create template and create a template named little-lift-donation.
- Within Product information, hide the Buy buttons and Quantity selector blocks using their visibility controls. Save the template.
- In Shopify Admin > Products, open Meyer & Friends Donation. Set its Theme template to little-lift-donation and save. The template must exist in your published theme to assign it.
- Open the donation product page and verify Add to cart is hidden. Confirm the Little Lift cart widget still works. Contact support if your theme lacks these controls.
Set up Shopify POS
Enable POS in Little Lift after accepting the merchant terms. In the Shopify POS app, add the Little Lift Donations tile to the smart grid. Open it during a sale, explain the optional donation and its beneficiary, and add an amount only after the customer agrees. The tile offers fixed, round-up and custom donation amounts.
Confirm the donation line and amount in the POS cart before collecting payment through Shopify POS. A merchant must be signed into the same store where Little Lift is installed.
Reconcile a donation or refund
Open Little Lift's Remittance section to review totals and statements or download the ledger CSV. Paid-order and refund events update the ledger. A refund of ordinary merchandise does not reduce donation totals unless the donation line itself was refunded.
Report a statement paid only after sending the remittance. A reported payment is awaiting confirmation; Meyer & Friends verification records that receipt was confirmed. If totals or status disagree with your records, contact support before sending another payment.
