Remittance
Monthly statements calculate gross customer donations less refunded donation lines. Reports include period, order count, channel split, location split, gross, refunds, and net due.
- Merchants mark a statement paid only after sending the remittance using Meyer & Friends payment instructions.
- Authorized Meyer & Friends administrators verify receipt and keep an audit trail.
- Overdue statements remain visible for follow-up and policy controls.
Statements and payment statuses are accounting records, not donor tax receipts.
Know what each status means
Issued means a statement has been generated from recorded donation orders. Reported paid means the merchant says the remittance was sent. Verified means an authorized Meyer & Friends administrator has confirmed receipt. A reported payment alone is not proof that the recipient has received it.
The merchant sends the payment. Little Lift does not hold donations, split Shopify payouts or automatically send money to the beneficiary. Little Lift retains 0% for app operating costs, and its statement formula does not subtract Shopify processing fees.
Download the ledger CSV in the app for order-level reconciliation. If a payment instruction is incomplete, a refund arrives after payment, or an amount differs from your records, contact support to resolve it.
